IT Support Analyst (Contract)
Role Overview
Nua is seeking a hands-on, on-site IT professional to oversee the daily health of our client’s Edmonton office technology. This role serves as a critical bridge between the global head office ticketing system and the local Edmonton team, providing immediate, practical resolution to technical issues. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys a flexible, small-office environment.
Primary Responsibilities
End-User Support: Act as the first point of contact for all hardware and software issues (Laptops, Printers, Docking Stations).
Account & License Management: Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses, and SharePoint permissions.
Onboarding/Offboarding: Imaging new laptops, setting up workstations for new hires, and ensuring secure data wipe/recovery for departing staff.
System Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance on local ERP and CRM interfaces to ensure seamless connectivity with global head office systems.
Ticket Governance: Log and manage local issues through the corporate ticketing system to ensure global visibility and reporting.
Vendor Liaison: Work alongside existing service providers during the transition period and coordinate with hardware vendors for warranty repairs.
Required Technical Skills
Deep familiarity with Windows 10/11 and the Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).
Experience with Active Directory or Azure AD for user management.
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking (cabling, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
Experience supporting ERP/CRM users (SAP experience is considered a significant asset).
Duration: 12 Months.
Location: Edmonton / Hybrid
Rate: Commensurate with experience
