SAP SuccessFactors / Employee Central Functional Specialist - Contract

Nua is currently looking for an SAP SuccessFactors Functional Specialist with deep expertise in Employee Central to support the configuration, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of our client's HR systems. This role will partner closely with business and external partners translate requirements into scalable system solutions that improve processes and employee experience.

The client has recently completed a successful enterprise-wide implementation of SAP S/4HANA, enabling Finance and other core business functions on a unified platform. As the next phase of their transformation, they are expanding capabilities into HR with the rollout of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional configuration and support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Gather business requirements and translate them into system design and solutions

• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, guiding the team on industry best practices and recommending process and system improvements

• Manage enhancements, releases, testing, and continuous improvements

• Support integrations with payroll, time, and other HR systems

• Troubleshoot issues and provide day-to-day system support

• Partner with HR, IT, and vendors to ensure system performance and data integrity

• Develop documentation, training, and process improvements

Qualifications

• Senior level SAP SuccessFactors experience, with strong Employee Central expertise

• Experience with Payroll and Time

• Experience with implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects

• Understanding of core HR processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle)

• Experience working with external vendors and ensuring expectations align with internal teams

• Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills

• SuccessFactors certification considered an asset
